Phil Arbon: Paisley, Renfrewshire, United Kingdom; Phil Arbon has been painting for over 30 years. Using different styles in Watercolours, Pastels, Acrylics and Oils he paints passionately on subjects from the West of Scotland: from the busy buildings in Paisley to the barren beaches of the Western Isles he finds no shortage of inspiration and enthusiasm to paint. Phil is the Exhibition Secretary of Paisley Artists and a member of the Lochwinnoch Art Group. He also gives painting demonstrations to clubs, leisure groups, church groups, etc. Phil was a Mechanical Engineer in Peterborough (his home town) and later followed a calling to Church Ministry in Renfrewshire. He is now an itinerant speaker and involved in equipping and training in the New Church scene. However, throughout his varied career he has always painted with passion and seen the world as God’s masterpiece and his own paint box as an expression of his Christian Faith.
